Understanding Mental Health
This training builds on the Understanding Mental Health Training (Part 1) held in 2017. However, is not a prerequisite to have attended the previous training.
Many residential facilities have people suffering from a variety of Mental Health Conditions. To help understand these conditions and provide appropriate care, this work shop is essential.

Presenter: Angela Spalding RMN MSc Psychosocial Interventions BSc (Hons) Health Studies.
Angela has worked in Mental Health for over two decades in a variety of clinical, educational and research roles. Angela has worked as a Senior Lecturer in the UK and NZ and was amongst the early adopters of mental health clinicians to embrace a ‘psychosocial paradigm’ of practice. Her holistic approach to the complexities of mental well-being is recovery focused and trauma-informed.
